Rooted in Faith. Open to the Future.

A church governed by volunteers, led by the Spirit, and committed to Lodi.

What Does "Presbyterian" Mean?

The word Presbyterian comes from the Greek word for “elder.” It means we are a church led not by a single authority figure, but by volunteer members elected by the congregation to serve alongside the pastor.

Grace Presbyterian belongs to the Presbyterian Church (USA). We value our traditions and history, while holding them with open hands. We believe God is still at work, still speaking, and still guiding us forward.

What We Believe

God & The Trinity

We believe God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — a being of unimaginable power, goodness, and love. God is both beyond us and deeply present with us.

We believe God is revealed in the Scriptures, which guide us in faith and action. At the same time, we recognize that faith includes mystery. We don’t claim to have all the answers — but we value thoughtful conversation and faithful curiosity.

We believe every person has dignity because they are created in the image of God. We strive to be a welcoming community where you can come as you are — with your questions, your doubts, your hopes, and your story.

Led by Community

Grace Presbyterian is guided by a group of elected volunteers known as the Session. These elders serve with wisdom, prayer, and care for the congregation. Together with our pastor, they shape the direction of our church and steward its mission in Lodi.

We believe leadership works best when it is shared.

The Session

Our Pastor

Serving Lodi Since 1957

From gathering in living rooms in 1957 to dedicating our sanctuary in 1962 and opening our preschool in 1982, Grace Presbyterian has faithfully served Lodi for more than six decades.

Our story is one of steady faith, dedicated members, and a deep love for this community.
